Deployment Parameters
The Deployment Parameters category displays the Windchill+ readiness status of the environment based on the following parameters:
Server OS
Database
Vaults
Most of the information relates to the necessary resourcing arrangements on the cloud environment. Only two parameters, Server OS and Database, define the Windchill+ readiness status of the Windchill environment.
The deployment parameters that are supported in the cloud environment are indicated with .
The deployment parameters that are not supported in the environment are indicated with .
The deployment parameters that require mitigation to be supported in the cloud environment are indicated with .
Following is an example of the Deployment Parameters category.
Some of the parameters in this list are linked. Click the link to view the detailed information about the parameter. Following is an example of the Server OS drill-down dashboard.
The different parameters and the information they provide, is given below —
Server OS — Node ids, operating system type, version, CPU type, number of cores, and total RAM. Only RHEL or Linux platforms are supported in the cloud environment.
Database — Database type, version, and size. Currently, only the Oracle database is supported in the cloud environment.
Vaults — Number of vaults created on the Windchill environment, their type, mount type, and used size.
Content Stored in Blob — Blob storage size (in GB). This section is available only if data is being stored on a blob in the Windchill environment. If data is stored on a blob, then mitigation efforts are required before Windchill+ migration.
Server Configuration — Number of cluster nodes, server managers, method servers, and background method servers.
Java — Java version number and Java vendor name.
License Usage —Licenses, their types, total number of licenses, and the entitled users.
