Installing the eMessage Connector
To install the eMessage Connector after downloading and extracting the Axeda Compatibility Package from the PTC Support site, extract the content of the eMessage Connector archive to the location where you want to run the Connector. The contents of the eMessage Connector archive are described in Contents of the eMessage Connector Archive.

On a Windows machine, install the Connector in a location that results in a short path to the startup script, emessage.bat. Otherwise, you may encounter the problem described in the troubleshooting topic, Connector does not start and error is "Input line is too long".
