Creating the SKD Connector Thing Instance (Optional)
If you are not installing the Connected SLM Accelerator Extension, you will need to create an instance of KM ThingTemplate. Note that the Connected SLM Accelerator Extension provides one (PTC.CSLM.Demo.SKD.SKDThing). If you are using the Accelerator-provided connector thing, you may still need to edit its configuration properties.
1. Using the ThingWorx Composer, click the green “+” on the highlighted “Things” entity in the left pane. The New Thing Editor opens.
2. Enter a name for your SKD connector and select KM from the template selector.
3. Click Save to save your changes. Once your changes are successfully saved, you will see the Thing name in the tab.
