Configuring Connected Field Service
Setting Permissions for Connected Field Service Users
After the initial installation, only administrative users have access. Enable access for non-administrative users using the following steps.
1. Remove the user group called Users from the organization called Everyone.
*
Once this step is complete, users that are not set up as administrators will not have access to Connected Field Service components such as mashups, entities, and so on.
2. Create a new user, such as CFSUser.
3. Add the CFSUser user to the PTC.CSLM.Users user group.
4. Open the PTC.CSLM.Core.PermissionUtils thing and run the RunAll service.
The CFSUser user can now view and execute all Connected Field Service components.
