Setting Up ServiceMax
Creating the ServiceMax Connector Thing Instance (Optional)
If you are not installing the Connected SLM Accelerator Extension, you will need to create an instance of PTC.CSLM.Connector.ServiceMaxTemplate. Note that the Connected SLM Accelerator Extension provides one (PTC.CSLM.Connector.ServiceMax).
1. Using the ThingWorx Composer, click the green “+” on the highlighted “Things” entity in the left pane. The New Thing Editor opens.
2. Enter a name for your ServiceMax connector and select the PTC.CSLM.Connector.ServiceMaxTemplate from the template selector as follows:
3. Click Save to save your changes. Once your changes are successfully saved, the Thing name will be displayed in the tab.
