Using Version 2 ServiceMax IoT Events
If the Version 2 ServiceMax IoT events are to be used, the ExtractPayloadFromCase APEX Trigger in ServiceMax will either need to be disabled or changed in order for Cases, Work Orders and Service Requests to be successfully created. Contact your ServiceMax representative to enable this functionality.
Monitor ServiceMax Exception
Exceptions that occur in ServiceMax while processing Version 2 of the ServiceMax IoT events are logged. Refer to
Monitoring ServiceMax Exceptions for details.
Adding Parameters to the ServiceMax API
Parameters can be added to the ServiceMax API request by overriding the createOthersInfoTable to provide additional field values to be added to the ServiceMax object. In addition, custom changes to the ServiceMax application must be made to be able to map the additional field values. This work is typically done by someone from ServiceMax working with the implementor. Refer to
