What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In Creo Progressive Die Extension 11.0 and earlier, the strip thickness is calculated on the generic article reference. In Creo Progressive Die Extension 12.0.0.0 and later, the article instance that is first assembled is used to calculate the thickness. Additionally, you can use the parameter PDX_ARTICLE_THICKESS to overwrite the thickness calculation. Designers can control the strip thickness, based on family table parameters.
