To Set Colors for the Comparison View
Set colors for the active view using the ribbon or the Creo View Options dialog box. Set default colors using the Creo View Options dialog box. The colors update in these locations:
• Graphics area
• Difference Details tab of the lower data panel
• Search results pane
• Compare Results tab of the upper data panel

To Set Colors Using the Ribbon
1. In an open comparison view, the location of the commands depends on the type of results. Look in one of the locations listed below:
◦ Quick Results—Home ribbon
◦ Full Results—Compare Results ribbon
2. Open the Choose Color dialog box by clicking one of these buttons:
◦ First Item
◦ Second Item
◦ Common
3. Select a new color for the item, and then click OK.
4. Repeat steps 2–3 for each color to set.
To Set Colors Using the Creo View Options dialog box
1. Open the options dialog box from one of these locations:
◦ In an open comparison view, you can also click > , and then skip to step 3.
The Creo View Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, to set the default colors, click Defaults. To set the colors for the active view, click Active View.
3. On the left, under Compare, select ECAD. The Compare-ECAD options open on the right.
4. Under Colors, click a color to open the Choose Color dialog box.
5. Set colors for the First Item, Second Item, or Common Item.

6. Click OK, or click Apply to apply the changes and keep the dialog box open.
