• You may want to check your Creo Simulate settings to determine how the software processes your model during analyses and design studies.

◦ whether Creo Simulate includes datum curves or surfaces in the mesh

◦ the defining ranges that Creo Simulate observes when creating elements

◦ whether Creo Simulate treats the model as a shell or solid

• You can check your model for errors before you start a run by clicking Info > Check Model on the Analyses and Design Studies dialog box.

• If you select an invalid design study to run, Creo Simulate displays an error message after you select Start or Batch. Examples of invalid design studies include:

◦ a design study containing an analysis that requires measures for convergence but has no measures selected

◦ a sensitivity or optimization design study with no parameters

• Creo Simulate deletes a standard or sensitivity design study if you delete the only analysis belonging to that study.

• You should run only one design study at a time to avoid using too much memory.
