About the External Fatigue Material File
The external fatigue material file is a text file with a .mat extension. It defines additional material properties for a fatigue analysis. Set the sim_fatigue_external_matadata configuration option to yes, to specify an external fatigue material file for a fatigue analysis. You can define multiple external material files for a single fatigue analysis. The names of the material files must match the material names that you assigned to your model.
Use the following keywords and values to define an external fatigue material file:

Note the following points when defining the external fatigue material file:
Properties marked with an asterisk (*) must be in stress units defined in the principal system of units.
The keywords and values must be separated by “=”.
You can add the keywords in any order.
You can either use all, or a subset of the list of keywords in a single material file.
