Multiphase: Fuel Tank Overview
The objective of this simulation is to study the filling of a fuel tank using the VOF model. The tank contains an initial oil level of 0.2 m. Fuel enters the nozzle at a velocity of 0.00095 m3/s and exits at an outlet pressure of 101325 Pa. You can see the geometry and conditions for the simulation in the figure below:
1. Tank
2. Nozzle Air Outlet
Outlet Pressure = 101325 Pa
3. Nozzle Fuel In
Volumetric Flux = 0.00095 m3/s
4. Fuel Line
5. Tank Vent Out
Outlet Pressure = 101325 Pa
Fuel Density = 800 kg/m3
Fuel Viscosity = 0.002 Pa-s
Initial Oil Level Height = 0.2 m
