About Multilevel Subdivision
Multilevel subdivision in Creo Parametric alters a shape for finer detail and control using definite subdivision levels. In this process you are not required to manually subdivide the model and alter the topology. As a rule, you can create subdivision surfaces only at the base level. You can increase the subdivision levels from the base level to level 3.
Before performing multilevel subdivision, remember the following points:
You can create geometry using the Extrude, Face Split, Edge Split, Connect, and Align commands only at the base level.
You can apply a crease only at the base level.
If changes already exist for a mesh element at a higher subdivision level, you can make topological changes to the mesh element only after deleting the related multilevel changes.
