About the Render Studio
Creo Render Studio compiles elements such as model appearances, scenes, and lighting to create a rendered image. A rendered image shows how an environment reflects onto a surface, revealing design flaws or confirming design objectives. From the rendered image, you can also see how a modeled object would look in a real-world setting, with realistic lighting, shadowing, and surroundings.
From the Render Studio tab, you can use the commands described in the following list. See Related Links for additional information about these commands:
Appearances—Apply appearances to the model or modify the existing materials used in the model.
Scenes—Apply an alternative HDRI scene to a model. You can also edit the scene to modify the default scenes, environment, lights, and background.
Saved Orientations—Set or modify orientations.
Perspective View—Set your model in perspective.
Real-Time Rendering—Toggle on and off the real-time ray-tracing process.
Render Output—Save the render with defined settings.
Creo Render Studio is powered by the Luxion KeyShot rendering engine. You can save your model with its defined scene and appearances as BIP file that can be opened in a standalone KeyShot application.
Creo Render Studio supports the advanced graphic capabilities listed below:
Order Independent Transparency (OIT)
Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO)
Advanced material support through shaders
Improved performance using vertex buffer objects (VBOs)
Full screen anti-aliasing (FSAA)
These graphics capabilities have specific graphics card hardware and driver requirements. Refer to the hardware release notes.
