Geometry-rule surface sets collect surfaces or surface regions based on a seed surface and one or more geometry rules. Based on the seed surface and the tool, the system automatically decides which geometry rules are applicable. You then choose the geometry rule and the system automatically collects the other surfaces in the set. You can exclude selected surfaces from the geometry rule surface set. The following table defines the rules applicable to each type of seed surface.
