About RuleCHECK
RuleCHECK is a component of Creo ModelCHECK , which enables organizations to create and enforce a checklist of rules to ensure that their models conform to organization specific design standards.
By enabling organizations document and enforce important engineering rules, RuleCHECK can be used to develop a design advisor for Creo Parametric users. RuleCHECK allows organizations to define rules which describe a company’s engineering rules, design process steps, required deliverables, and Creo Parametric best practices. Each type of part and assembly that a company designs can have specific rules assigned for it.
The RuleCHECK report shows the names and description of the rules applied to the model. When you run RuleCHECK, you must manually check and sign-off that the model complies with the rules that are specified for the type of model you are working on.
With RuleCHECK, all the equations, rules, and design steps can be defined and presented to the users without developing any custom software. Designs are performed interactively in Creo Parametric following these guidelines. Organizations can easily add new rules, which should be followed in future, to RuleCHECK by simply updating the rule files for that type of models.
