To Modify Groups in the Exported Process Table Data
The process table can have various types of groups such as same behavior groups, merge groups, or gang tool groups. You can perform the following modifications to these groups after you export the process table data to a CSV file:
• Remove a step from a group. To remove a step from a group, select and delete the step row from the CSV file. Creo NC removes the step from the process table during synchronization.
• Remove all steps of a group. To remove all the steps of a group, select and delete the step rows. Creo NC removes the steps from the process table during synchronization.
• Remove the group leader in the CSV File. To do this, select and delete the leader step row. During synchronization, Creo NC expands the group.
• Reorder steps within a group. During synchronization, Creo NC reorders the steps in the process table.
• Move a step out of the group. To do this, select the step row and paste it at the required position outside the group. During synchronization, Creo NC removes the step from the group and places it at the required position.
• Move a step into the group. To do this, select the step that you want to move into the group and paste it at the required position within the group. In the corresponding cell, enter the name of the sub-group, to which you want to add the step. During synchronization, Creo NC removes the step from the previous position and places it within the group at the required position.

1—The name of the second-level group. Enter the name of the sub-group after moving the step into the group. In this case, the name should be MERGE5.
2—The name of the first-level group. Enter the name of the group after moving the step into the group. In this case, the name should be MERGE5.

• Move a group to a different position. To do this, select the group and all its members and paste it at the required location. During synchronization, Creo NC moves the group with all its members to the desired position.

When moving a group, the move fails during synchronization if you do not move all the members of the group.
