To Measure Entities
1. On the Tools tab, choose a method of measurement:
◦ Click Distance to open the Distance dialog box.
◦ Click Angle to open the Angle dialog box.
◦ Click Area to open the Area dialog box.
◦ Click Geometry to open the Geometry dialog box.
2. Select one or more geometric or construction entities to measure. The measurement displays in the box.
When calculating area, select an entity with a closed form.
3. If required, choose one of the following actions:
◦ Click to repeat the analysis.
◦ Click to display x and y coordinates of the selected entities.
◦ Click to save the information to a file.
◦ Click to print the information.
◦ Click to expand or collapse the dialog box.
◦ Click to display the information in a separate window.
