To Open a Pro/INTRALINK Object

• Drag the object directly from the Commonspace to the graphics window of the Creo application.

• Drag the object directly from the Workspace to the graphics window of the Creo application.

• Use the File Open dialog box.

To Drag from the Commonspace or the Workspace:

Opening files from your active Pro/INTRALINK workspace is a drag-and-drop operation.

1. Click

in the Folder navigator. The contents of the active Pro/INTRALINK workspace is displayed in the Creo browser.

2. Drag the file you want to open from the Workspace to the graphics window. The Creo application opens the selected file.

If you open an object that is checked in to the Commonspace, the system automatically checks-out the object to the active Workspace.

To Use the File Open Dialog

1. Click File > Open. The File Open dialog box opens.

2. In the Look In list, select your Pro/INTRALINK Workspace or Commonspace.

3. Select the objects that you want to open.

Hold down CTRL to select multiple objects.

4. Click Open. The selected objects open in the Creo application.

• To open an object as a simplified representation, click Open Rep.

• If you open an object that is checked in to the Commonspace, the system automatically checks out the object to the active Workspace.
