About Suppressed Configurable Modules and Components
Suppressing a configurable module or a component temporarily removes it from the model, both physically and visually. When you retrieve a configurable product or an assembly, any suppressed configurable module or component is not retrieved. This process saves time and memory when working with large configurable products and assemblies. Suppressed configurable modules and components do not appear in mass properties and cross sections, and you cannot store them (using the Save As or Backup commands).
Unlike deleted configurable modules and components, suppressed configurable modules and components can be restored by using the Resume command.
