Working with Creo Parametric Models in Creo Direct
You can work with Creo Parametric parts and assemblies in Creo Direct with the following considerations:
• You can open Creo Parametric models having parts with the following attributes in Creo Direct part mode and activate them in assembly mode:
◦ Family table instances
◦ External references
◦ Modifications that are not regenerated
You can edit the models with such parts and save them in Creo Direct.
• You can open assemblies containing sheetmetal parts, layout objects, or ECAD assemblies. However, you cannot activate or edit them in Creo Direct.
• You cannot perform a combined move operation on the assemblies containing the components with the previously mentioned attributes.
