To Select Geometry Rules
1. Select one or more surfaces in the graphics window. The Live Toolbar opens.
2. Click
. Alternatively click
Geometry Rules in the
Selections group. The
Geometry Rules dialog box opens.
3. Select one or more Rules options as follows:
◦ Coaxial: Includes surfaces coaxial to the selected surface geometry. This option is available only for revolved surface geometry.
◦ Equal radius: Includes surfaces with the same radius as the selected surface geometry. This option is available for cylindrical, spherical, and toroidal surface geometry.
◦ Same Convexity: Includes surfaces with the same convexity as the selected surface geometry. This option is available for cylindrical, conical, and spherical surface geometry.
4. To collect the surfaces that satisfy all the selected rules, click All applicable rules.
5. To select surfaces that satisfy at least one of the selected rules, click Any applicable rules.
6. Click OK.
