To Create a Cross Section through a Single Part in an Assembly
1. Open an assembly.
2. Create a cross section using the
Planar tool on the
Home tab.
3. Expand the Options Toolbar to open the Floating Dashboard.
4. Expand the Models panel and click Include selected models only.
5. Select a part. The selected part is displayed in the collector.
6. Middle-click to complete the operation. The cross section is added to the Model Tree.
