To Use the Live Toolbar
1. In part or assembly mode, select
Home >
Select (with default).
2. Select the object for your operation:
◦ Part mode—Creates or open a 3D model.
◦ Assembly mode—Activates a part or opens an assembly with one or more parts.
3. Select a geometric or a datum entity in the graphics window. A Live Toolbar appears.
4. Click a button to select a tool (command) and open its Options Toolbar. Expand the Options Toolbar to open the Floating Dashboard.
5. To temporarily hide the Live Toolbar, hold down the CTRL key.
