Considerations for Undoing and Redoing Actions
Sequential actions and the effects of opening and closing tools are explained below.
Undoing Actions in Sequence
You can undo and redo each action sequentially. For example, if you have modified an entity by pulling a dragger, you can undo all the pulling actions one at a time. You can then undo the action of creating the entity. Finally you can undo the selection of a reference.
Opening and Closing Tools
After you close a geometry tool and interact with a new tool, all the actions that you performed using the previous tool are rolled up into one single undo action.
If you have closed a tool and opened a new tool but have not used it, you can undo opening the tool. The previous tool restarts in its state before it was closed. You can also redo the operation of opening the new tool.
