• To use all the Creo Direct features that are applicable to an object, you must activate the window containing the object. An active window has the following characteristics:

◦ The word “Active” appears on the title bar after the model name.

◦ All applicable menu commands on that window become available.

◦ If you minimize the active window, all windows are minimized.

◦ The file name associated with the object is selected in the list of open windows from the Windows list on the Quick Access Toolbar.

• During a modeling session, you can open more than one window with an object in it. However, only one window is active at a time.

• You can switch between open windows at any time.
