About Working with a Creo Direct Window
You can activate, open, close, or resize windows in a Creo Direct session. Keep in mind the following points as you work with objects in a Creo Direct window:
To use all the Creo Direct features that are applicable to an object, you must activate the window containing the object. An active window has the following characteristics:
The word “Active” appears on the title bar after the model name.
All applicable menu commands on that window become available.
If you minimize the active window, all windows are minimized.
The file name associated with the object is selected in the list of open windows from the Windows list on the Quick Access Toolbar.
During a modeling session, you can open more than one window with an object in it. However, only one window is active at a time.
You can switch between open windows at any time.
