About Recording Workspace Operations as Frames
A frame is the snapshot of a cache or the existing design configuration in a workspace at a given time. You can record as frames all workspace operations that affect the state of the cache. Frames are collectively a series of snapshots or the recorded states of a set of actions or events performed in the workspace. They capture the operation history. You can restore frames to revert to the associated actions. The restoration of frames also restores objects and their associated information, the workspace, and the state of the cache at a given time.
