Supported Object Operations in the Workspace
Use the commands on the File > Check In menu to modify and store objects on the Windchill server:
• Check Out
• Auto Check In
• Custom Check In
• Undo Check Out
Use the commands on the File > Open menu to refresh objects opened in Creo Direct with contents from the server:
• Update Current—Update currently active object.
• Update All
—Update all objects in session.
Use the corresponding commands on the File > Save menu to perform save operations:
• Save and Upload—Save and upload objects to the database.
• Save Changed—Save all the changed objects to the workspace.
Click File > Manage Session > Server Manager to open the Server Manager dialog box. Use this dialog box to add a server to your folder navigator and to set the active working area.
Use the commands on the File > Manage File menu to perform the following operations:
• Rename—Rename an object both in a session and in the workspace. The renamed object is then saved as a new object.
• View Server Properties—View the server properties for a model that is opened in Creo Direct.
• Delete Old Versions—Delete all versions of an object except the most current version (the version with the highest version number).
• Delete All Versions—Delete all versions of the current object.
