The orientation of an annotation label can be adjusted by defining its text direction and its "up" direction. Note that annotations attached to docuplanes can only be oriented with respect to their docuplanes. If you select a dimension that belongs to a coordinate or baseline dimension, the system automatically considers all dimensions in the chain.
To reorient an annotation label,
1. Click 3D Documentation and then, in the Annotate group, click the arrow next to More.
2. Click Orientation under Modify. The Anno Orientation dialog box opens.
3. Click the annotation to reorient, or select multiple annotations.
4. Adjust one or both of the orientation parameters:
◦ Text Dir Specifies the direction of the text of the anno label.
◦ Up Dir Specifies the "up" direction of the label.
5. Continue reorienting annotations, or click to complete the operation.
