Sharing uses the same workplanes and their profiles in repeated instances, saving time and reducing the file size. Sharing is different from copying in that shared workplanes maintain a relationship with each other after being shared—when one is changed, the others also change.
A shared workplane can be unshared at any time. This operation creates independent workplanes with their own data structures.
To create a shared workplane,
1. Click Structure and then, in the Workplane group, click Share. The Create Share dialog box opens.
2. Click Source and select the workplane you want to share in the Structure Browser.
3. Click Owner and select the new shared workplane's owner in the Structure Browser.
4. Switch on Keep Attr if you want to transfer user-defined attributes to the shared workplane.
