Move a workplane from one workplane set to another
You can move a workplane from one workplane set to another by changing its owner. This topic explains how to move workplanes from one workplane set to another and not the physical movement (positioning) of workplanes.
To move a workplane from one set to another,
The easiest way to move a workplane to a different workplane set or assembly is to drag it in the Structure Browser, much like you would drag a file in your file system.
1. Click Structure and then, in the Workplane group, click More.
2. Click WP Set under Workplane Sets.
3. Click Owner. The Modify Owner dialog box opens.
4. Select the owner (workplane set or assembly) in the Structure Browser.
The active workplane (which is underlined in green in the Structure Browser) will be reassigned to the workplane set you select.
If you want to move a workplane out of a set but not into a new set, enter a slash (/) in the data entry field next to Owner.
