Limitations on surface analysis
The following limitations apply to the Surface Analysis function:
The curvature radius analysis only works on a single face at a time. You cannot analyze the radii of an entire part.
The curvature radius analysis is a point-wise evaluation (measured at the cursor point). It does not return global minimum and maximum values.
Facet refinement will influence the quality of the analysis. Better faceting data leads to better surface analysis results.
Extreme facet refinement will reduce system performance.
Select faces or parts manually only when using the Surface Analysis tool (not when using Surface Analysis in the Surfacing menus).
When selecting new faces or parts in the Surface Analysis tool, it is not possible to have the sub-dialog open.
