Non-planar profiles or planar profiles that are not orthogonal to the spine can be used to create a surface.
• Birails are not supported.
• There may be unexpected results when using non-planar profiles, especially when using Variation Options:
◦ The attachment point position is not clearly defined for non-planar profiles.
◦ With Offset Scaling, the offset is applied orthogonally to the spine at the attachment point.
Select the non-planar profile as you would a planar profile.
If the spine is too short to calculate an attachment point with the profile, you will get an error message. Add a curve to the spine to increase its length and an attachment point will be generated by the system.
