Preselection Mode
Creo Elements/Direct Modeling offers the following functions only in the preselection mode:
Preselection Handle
Command Mini Toolbar (CMT)
Preselection Handle:
Creo Elements/Direct Modeling allows you to select a 2D or 3D element in the viewport. If you select a 2D profile or a 3D element, preselection handles appear on the selected element in the viewport. You can drag the preselection handles or the 3D CoPilot presented to perform the most likely action.
For example, if you select an arc on an active workplane, four preselection handles appear on the arc as shown in the image below. The preselection handle between the two end points of the arc appears at the point where you have selected the arc. You can drag the preselection handles to change the position or shape of the arc.
