After adding tangency conditions, you can remove them selectively. You can remove tangency conditions from several items:
• Workplanes.
• Profile elements.
• Vertices on profiles.
1. Click Modeling and then, in the Model group, click More.
2. Click Remove Tan in the Basic Loft section.
3. Specify a workplane set to remove the tangent from using one of the following ways:
◦ Click the workplane set from the Browser and click Apply.
◦ Click the border of a workplane in the set.
◦ Enter the name of the workplane set.
4. Click the workplane, profile element, or vertex you want to remove the tangent from.
5. You can continue removing tangency conditions or click to complete the operation.
To remove a workplane from a profile matchline,
1. Click Modeling and then, in the Model group, click More.
2. Click Remove WP in the Basic Loft section.
3. Specify the workplane to remove. Use one of the following ways:
◦ Click the workplane from the Browser and click Apply.

Creo Elements/Direct Modeling does not delete the workplane but removes it from the set of workplanes joined by the matchline.
To insert a workplane in a profile matchline,
After creating a profile matchline, you can insert further workplanes. There are two ways of inserting a workplane:
• Inserting between two existing workplanes or at the beginning of a workplane set.
• Adding a workplane at the end of the workplane set.
1. Click Modeling and then, in the Model group, click More.
2. Click Insert WP in the Basic Loft section.
3. You now have two choices depending on where you want to insert the workplane:
◦ To insert between two existing workplanes or at the beginning of a workplane set:
1. Using the direction of the matchline, specify the next workplane after the one you want to insert.
2. Click the matchline you want to connect the profile to.
3. Click the corresponding vertex on the inserted workplane.
◦ To insert a workplane at the end of the workplane set:
1. Click the matchline you want to extend to the new workplane.
2. Click the corresponding vertex on the new workplane.
To tweak a profile matchline at a vertex,
1. Create a profile matchline.
2. Click Modeling and then, in the Model group, click More.
3. Click Tweak ML in the Basic Loft section.
4. Click the profile matchline to tweak.
5. Click the new vertex for the matchline to pass through.

To rotate matchlines on a profile,
1. Create a profile matchline.
2. Click Modeling and then, in the Model group, click More.
3. Click Rotate ML in the Basic Loft section.
4. Specify the workplane in which to rotate the matchlines. Use one of the following ways:
◦ Click the workplane from the Browser and click Apply.
◦ Click the border of the workplane.
◦ Enter the name of the workplane.
5. You now have two choices:
◦ Rotate the matchline forward, click Forward.
◦ Rotate the matchline backward, click Backward. With each click, the matchline will jump one vertex further. The direction is based on the direction of the matchline.
