Creo Elements/Direct Modeling allows you to delete patterns of features or parts. You can choose to either delete the pattern with the reference elements (features and parts) or to delete only the pattern. The features will then remain but are no longer associated with a pattern.
To delete a pattern,
1. Click Feature and then, in the Pattern group, click Delete. The Delete Pattern dialog box opens.
To delete a pattern, you can select the pattern in the viewport and click on the Command Mini Toolbar (CMT).
2. In the Option box, select one of the following:
◦ Remove elems: Deletes the pattern and all its elements (features or parts).
◦ Pattern only: Deletes only the pattern and retains its elements.
◦ Keep source: Deletes the pattern and all its elements except the source element. If the first element is unshared or skipped, the next shared element of the pattern is not deleted.
3. Select the pattern in the viewport or Structure Browser.
4. Click to complete the operation.
or
1. Right-click the pattern in the Structure Browser.
2. Click Delete. You can't keep the features or parts if you use this method.
