You can load the definition of a custom process into Creo Elements/Direct Modeling from the worldwide web if you know the URL. To load a definition from a remote location, enter the following command into the user input line:
(LOAD(OLI:SD-RETRIEVE-URL "http://path"))
where path is the full path to the definition of the custom process feature.
This facility is also available to load other types of file into Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, for example, pixmaps.
If you load a body from an external application and Creo Elements/Direct Modeling identifies a foreign feature, you can contact a URL to access the definition of that feature and load the definition from the WWW. This gives Creo Elements/Direct Modeling an inherent knowledge of both internally defined features, and those defined by external companies.
