Saving and loading session files
Save your work regularly. This reduces the danger of losing data due to power failure or other problems.
If you save your work in a session file, you save all data that belong to your current work situation. This includes parts, assemblies, workplanes, workplane sets, and all environment settings.
Session files are meant for a fast and easy saving of all current data. Use them for temporary storage of projects in progress. If you have to interrupt your work and want to carry on later, starting at the same point, save your work in a session file.
*
If you load a session file, it overwrites your current environment.
Session files may not be compatible among different versions of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling.
