When you load an assembly that contains a formation, you will receive a warning message unless you have turned off the warnings in
Change Configuration settings. You should convert the formation to a configuration. You should not use the Formations goodie; the configuration feature replaces its functionality.
To convert a formation to a configuration,
1. Load an assembly that contains one or more formations.
2. Click Structure and then, in the Configurations group, click More.
3. Click Convert in the Modify section. The Convert Formations dialog box opens.
4. Select the assembly.
5. Click to complete the operation.
6. Expand your assembly to locate the new configuration(s) in the Structure Browser.
