Define a text template
To use a block of text in multiple drawings, you can create a text template (registered text) based on an existing text block located on the current drawing. Once you have saved the text, it will appear in the Template Browser and you can load it into a drawing.
To define a text template,
1. Click Annotation and then, in the Annotate group, click More.
2. Click Define Text as Template in the Text section. The Text Template dialog box opens.
3. Click Text and specify the text to use as a template.
4. Enter a unique name in the Name box.
5. Select a category from the Category drop-down list or type a new category name.
6. Click the Thumbnail check box to create a small image of the text template.
7. Specify the Angle and Margin for the thumbnail.
8. If needed, click Edit Thumbnail.
9. Click to complete the operation.
The text template appears in the Template Browser and is saved automatically.
