You can define the general behavior of hatching created during view updates.
To define hatch behavior,
1. Click File > Settings > Hatch > Hatch Mode Settings. The Default Settings table opens with Hatch mode settings.
2. You can set the following offset values or style references:
◦ Reference for Angle Offset — Select View or Sheet to align the hatch pattern to a view orientation or common to the sheet.
◦ Reference for Distance Scale — Select View to have the hatch pattern distance calculations take the view scale into consideration, or select Sheet to ignore the scale.
◦ Strategy for New Hatches — Select Copy or Default to assign matching hatch patterns to a part (if there is already a hatch in the part, somewhere within the drawing); otherwise the pattern will be set to default.
Select Variate if you'd like to use an existing hatch pattern but vary the default pattern for each new part that you create.
◦ Strategy for Angle Variants allows you to specify an integer value that defines how often the angle of the pattern will be varied when hatching a new part.
◦ Strategy for Distance Factor allows you to specify the pattern distance variation.
◦ Synchronization Across Parts — Select Separated if you want to change selected hatches without affecting corresponding hatches in other views.
Select Shared to change corresponding hatches in other views.
