Copy a view
You can copy a single view or multiple views of a sheet to any other existing sheet. The view is copied to the target sheet in the same location as the current sheet. All standard, general, section, detail, partial, broken, and cutaway views can be copied.

• You cannot copy flat views.
• Views created from docuplanes (transfer 2D to 3D) are copied as annotation views.
To copy a view,
1. Click Annotation and then, in the Setup group, click More.
2. Click Copy in the View section.
The Copy View dialog box opens.
3. In the Copy View dialog box, perform the following actions.
◦ In the View box, specify the view or select the view from the sheet.
◦ In the Target sheet box, select the target sheet number.
4. Click in the Copy View dialog box to complete the operation.

The copied views are dynamic. If the original view is updated, the copied view is also updated. To do this, you must update the sheet in which the copied views are present.
