Nicolas Dupuy, Canada
Adoption Architect
Nicolas joined PTC France in 2009 as a Senior Consultant to support the growth of the European Service Lifecycle Management market. Nicolas has been an active member and co-chairman of the international AeroSpace & Defense S1000D Electronic Publication Working Group for many years. Because of his tremendous knowledge of the A&D industry and specifications, Nicolas joined PTC University North America in early 2013 to take the role of an Adoption Architect devoted to Bombardier Aerospace: “It’s an exciting challenge to support such a renowned company in the implementation of two major future aircrafts: the civil program C-Series and Business Jet Global 7000/8000.”
Nicolas holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering (with emphasis on software development and new technologies) and, prior to joining PTC, worked in the A&D Customer Service department at Dassault-Aviation (France), where he was in charge of the Rafale Military Aircraft technical publications and Falcon Business Jet maintenance information management system.
An expert in S1000D compliant publishing, Nicolas contributed to the presentation “How to Achieve a Conformant S1000D Light?” which was elected Best Presentation at the 2013 S1000D User Forum in Vienna (Austria).
Gong Jing Gen, China
Learning Consultant, CAD
Since joining PTC University as MCAD Consultant in May 2010, Gong Jing continues to share his profound MCAD knowledge with PTC’s customers. With years of experience in truck engine design, he has special expertise in Top-Down-Design and Mathcad.
Gong Jing Gen graduated from Tianjin University with a major in internal combustion engine design. His professional experience includes several years of doing truck engine design with DCD. He also became familiar with complex cast part design, such as cylinder heads , exhaust manifold systems, etc while working for AVL, a large engineering consultancy.
Jeffrey Yan, China
Senior Learning Consultant, Windchill
Jeffrey Yan joined PTC University as a Learning Consultant in 2008 and has deep knowledge of the aviation industry. He has tremendous expertise in the area of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM configuration management, product structure management, product configuration management, product multi-view management, workflow management, product code management, as well as design and manufacturing collaboration. He has also published several business articles on PLM topics.
Prior to joining PTC as Learning Consultant in 2008, he worked as Senior Windchill Engineer for VIA Technologies, Inc. and as PLM Consultant at Beijing Tsinghua University Tsinghua InfoTech. Jeffry studied Computer Science and Technology at Hebei University of Technology.
Frank Arnoux, France
CAD Consultant
Frank Arnoux, who joined PTC University as MCAD Consultant in 1999, brings expertise in Creo installation/configuration, top down design, automation, large assembly management, and project optimization, plus project management and team management. He also has experience working with PTC customers in industries ranging from agricultural equipment to automotive and furniture.
Frank graduated from National Institute of Applied Science (INSA – ex ENSAIS) of Strasbourg, specializing in mechanical engineering, and has served as CAD Manager and Project Manager at Hager Group in France, and as Innovation Project Manager at Alcatel Lucent in France.
Romain Caspoir, France
Learning Consultant
Romain Caspoir joined PTC University in 2011, bringing expertise in CAD design and project engineering, as well as large PLM implementations. Prior to joining PTC University, Romain served as Senior CAD Engineer and CAD/PLM trainer for Ideal Standard International and American Standard in France. He developed training materials and trained all CAD users in the organization, and also developed chinaware CAD products from conceptual design through production at locations including Mexico, China, and Europe for the building-materials producer American Standard.
Romain holds a degree in engineering technology from the Institut de Céramique Francaise and has studied ceramics design, modeling, and tooling.
Detlef Bexkens, Germany
Principal Consultant
Detlef Bexkens joined PTC University in 2006 as Senior Consultant, and in his role as Community Lead Detlef is responsible for continuous knowledge improvement of the PTC University consultants in Europe. He has extensive experience in architecture, implementation, and standards for CAD, PDM, and PLM.
Detlef holds a degree in mechanical engineering and manufacturing from the Technical Schools in Moenchengladbach, Germany. Before joining PTC he worked in solution architecture, product management, consulting, and other disciplines for Thales Information Systems, DENC AG and RAND Technologies in Germany. At PTC he’s worked on a variety of education and training projects for customers such as Schaeffler Group, Airbus, Bosch, Volvo CE, Ericsson, Volkswagen, and others.
Gerald Imhoff, Germany
Learning Architect
Gerald Imhoff, who joined PTC in 2006, has extensive experience in CAD development – for 2D and 3D – and rapid prototyping, and has consulted and conducted training and user support for Creo, Pro/ENGINEER and Pro/INTRALINK, a well as Windchill, Creo Elements/View and PDMLink. Prior to PTC, Gerald was a design engineer and project manager for Braun GmbH and a consultant/project manager for DENC AG and Trivit AG.
Gerald holds a degree in precision engineering from the University of Applied Science, Frankfurt, and completed a diploma thesis at Braun GmbH on “Development of a method for a consistent description of product and tool geometry in a 3D environment.”
Muraoka Makoto, Japan
Learning Consultant, CAD
Muraoka Makoto joined PTC University as a CAD Learning Consultant in 1997. Since then he has successfully led Design, Simulation, and Manufacturing-related CAD training classes for Japanese customers.
Muraoka Makoto obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering, focusing his studies on research in Mechanical Vibration. He has experience in the areas of Specification Planning, Development/Design, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing Technology through working in the Electrical Communication and Measurement industry prior to joining the PTC University team. This practical experience helps him to provide practice-oriented PTC solution training and to help customers in challenging situations.
Roberto Temur, USA
An expert in product development processes and challenges, Roberto Temur is uniquely suited for the role of Learning and Adoption Master Architect. His experience with PTC products includes over ten years of PTC Pro/ENGINEER and PTC Creo consulting, as well as PTC Windchill proficiency. Roberto is a constant contributor to the development of the PTC Realized Value Platform, through which PTC’s consultants help companies strategize, deploy, optimize, and support PLM implementations. He has also contributed to several components of PTC’s enterprise learning portfolio, which ensures that customers derive maximum value from their PLM technology.
Teaching is in Roberto's DNA: He taught at the university level for several years and has published scientific papers in UK, EU, and US. At PTC he leverages his knowledge of organizational change techniques, managing large learning and adoption programs for companies in the automotive, industrial, medical device, and aerospace & defense markets.
