Under Calculations in the Calculation Properties window, the Costs page displays the costs associated with the block once RBD calculations run. For more information, see Calculating RBD Results.

For costs to be calculated, you must supply cost properties for the block. Additionally, on the General page under RBD in the Calculate window, you must select Costs prior to running RBD calculations.

• If this checkbox is not selected, cost calculations are not run, and this page displays the following message: No costs have been calculated.

• If this checkbox is selected but no cost values are supplied for the block, zero values are shown in the resulting table.

The following table describes all of the cost results that appear on the Costs page when Costs is selected prior to running RBD calculations. If this checkbox is not selected, RBD cost calculations do not run.

Result	Description
Total cost	The sum of all costs associated with the component over a specified mission time. This value includes labor, miscellaneous, spare usage, and spare storage costs.
Labor cost	The total labor cost over the specified mission time. This cost is based on the fixed and variable costs associated with repair resources.
Miscellaneous cost	The total miscellaneous cost over the specified mission time. This value includes the fixed miscellaneous costs during maintenance (preventive, corrective, and inspection) and the cost associated with the repair shop.
Downtime cost	The cost associated with downtime of the system.
