The following table describes the part parameters required for optical devices when 217Plus is the selected calculation model. This model supports the following subcategories of optical devices:

• Detector, Isolator, Emitter

• Other Optical Module or Device

Parameter	Type	Description
Year of Manufacture	Integer	The four-digit year in which the device was manufactured (such as 1998 or 2004). The default is the current year.
Type	Choice List	The type of device. Choices vary by subcategory.
Junction Temp Override	Real (Degrees C)	The 217Plus model for optical devices does not provide for temperature changes. To meet customer demands for a way to make a temperature adjustment, Junction Temp Override is provided. For more information, see Basic Temperature Parameters.
