Calculating Markov Results
Calculating results for a Markov diagram consists of making the appropriate selections and then starting the process.
1. To open the Calculate window, do one of the following:
◦ On the standard toolbar, click Calculate.
◦ Select System > Calculate. The Calculate window opens.
◦ Press F8.
2. On the Calculation Selection page, select Markov. If this checkbox is cleared, Markov calculations do not run.
3. Complete the Markov pages. For more information, see Markov Calculation Properties.
4. After entering any additional data for other calculations to perform, click OK to run the requested calculations.
The Calculation Progress window opens, displaying progress as the calculations run. When they finish, the View Calculation Results window opens.
If calculations for multiple modules are performed, Markov calculation results appear on a Markov Results page. For more information, see Markov System Level Calculation Results.
5. When finished viewing results, close the View Calculation Results window.
You can view these same calculation results again at any time. To do so, select System > View Calculation Results.
