Inserting a Time Interval in the Time Intervals Pane
In the Project’s LCC Variables file, you can insert a time interval and the interest (inflation) rate associated with that time interval in the Time Intervals pane. To be able to calculate net present value (NVP), you must enter the interest rate to use for the time interval must be entered in the Interest Rate column. The interval for the interest rate should be the same as that for the time interval.
For example, if the time interval is five years, the interest rate should also be for five years.
1. If the LCC Variables file is not already open, then open it. You open this file in the same way as any other file.
2. In the last table row in the Time Intervals pane, click Click here to insert a new record.
3. Complete this window and then click OK to insert the time interval.
You can directly modify data in the Time Intervals pane. You can also copy, cut, paste, and delete records in the same manner as records in the System file.
