Operating Time Equation
The equation for calculating the operating time for a configuration is:

If the end date is blank or less than the start date, the operational time is Add * Mult.
The operating time can never be less than zero. If a negative value for Additional Hours results in a negative operating time, zero is used as the operating time.
If a value for Duty Cycle is entered for a system tree item, the percentage of time that this item operates is calculated as described in Equivalent Time.

In the Operating Times table, the units for the display-only Operational Time value are minutes. For example, in this table, if you enter 12:00 PM for today’s date for Start Date and then enter 12:00 PM for tomorrow’s date for End Date, the display-only Operational Time value is 1440.00. If you then enter a 1 for Additional Hours, the display-only Operational Time value changes to 1500.00 as it increases by 60 minutes.
