Options for Various Modules
The label for the
Data link option changes based on the module selected for
Data source. For some modules, additional options are made available because multiple selections must be made. If the Configurations table is turned on in the
Table Settings pane in the
Project Properties window, a
Configuration option precedes the System Tree Item option. The labels for all table options use the singular table names that are assigned. For more information, see
Specifying Table Settings. The following examples assume that the default table names are in use.
• When ALT is the source, ALT Data Set is shown. For it, select an ALT data set from those inserted in the LDA Navigator. When you click the drop-down control for this option, a window opens, listing all if these data sets. The parameters for the data set that you select are brought over.
• When FTA is the source, FTA Table is shown. For it, select a top gate for those fault trees inserted in the FTA Table. If you link an event tree branch to a fault tree gate or event, the time independent unreliability calculated for that gate or event is brought over.
• When FMEA is the source, multiple options are shown.
◦ For FMEA, select a FMEA from those inserted in the FMEA Table.
◦ For FMEA Tree Item, select an assembly or part from those inserted in the FMEA Tree.
◦ For FMEA Worksheet, select an item, mode, or effect from those inserted in the FMEA Worksheet. The failure rate for the data level that you select is brought over.
• When FRACAS is the source, System Tree Item is shown. For it, select an assembly or part from those inserted in the System Tree Items table
• When Markov is the source, Markov Diagram is shown. For it, select a diagram from those inserted in the Markov Table.
• When Prediction is the source, System Tree Item is shown. For it, select an assembly or part from those inserted in the System Tree Items table.
• When Weibull is the source, Weibull Data Set is shown. For it, select a parametric life data set from those inserted in the LDA Navigator. When you click the drop-down control for this option, a window opens, listing all such data sets in the System file. The parameters for the data set that you select are brought over.
