Opening an External File Using an Open Command
You can use Open commands to open files that are external to a Project.
1. Select > > , and the appropriate submenu command for the file type. The Open File window opens.
2. Use the options in this window to select the file type and navigate to the appropriate directory.
3. Select the file and click Open to open it in the registered application.

In the Options window, > controls whether submenus for the Open command are shown. When this checkbox is selected (default), submenu commands are shown. When it is cleared, submenu commands are not shown. For more information, see General User Options.
