Attaching a List to a Text Field
When a text field is selected in the
Data Definition pane, you can use the
List field in the
Field Definition pane to attach a list to it. The lists is all enabled
List Library files are available for selection. For more information, see
List Library Files.

You may need to insert a custom list in a List Library file before performing this procedure. If so, close the Data Definition file and complete the steps in Inserting a List in a List Library File before performing the steps that follow.

1. If the Data Definition file is not already open, then open it.
2. In the Data Definition pane, make the appropriate selection for Table type and then select the text or memo field to which to attach the list.
3. In the Field Definition pane, locate List and select the appropriate list from all those that are available.
4. When finished, close the file.
